US NATIONALS GAME SCORES Penguin Beaver Cadet 2010

Following are the Game Scores and Playoff Match ups from Thursday May 28th thru to the Finals on Memorial Day.

The IDTA and ASHI honor the memory of 4 great friends of the game, Steve Millette of Leominster &  San Antonio Texas, Ken White owner of 202 Sports Street Hockey Center in Athol Ma, and John Boucher of Leominster Ma, ( Boucher Flyers) sponsor, avid fan. Plus sadly Dan Renauld a young 21 yr old star player. All were great people and will be missed

2009 US NATIONALS Youth Divisions and Summary's

The 2009 US Nationals Results & Team Pictures for A & B Divisions. The 35th US Nationals, played in Leominster Ma and founded in 1974 by the Father of the Sport of Street and Dekhockey, Raymond Leclerc, saw lots of action and great games as several teams were crowned champions over the the Memorial Day weekend.

2007 CAN AM Results : FINAL RAMS 8 BUFFALO 9MM 0

The 2007 CAN AM with a field of 12 teams saw the 07 US National Champion Leominster RAMS crush Buffalo NY 9MM 8-0 in the Final. The RAMS edged the Leominster Jets in the Quarter Finals 2-1scoring with 32 seconds left in the game, then in the Semi- Final the RAMS defeated the ELITE 9-0. Buffalo 9MM coached by Chris Banks and recent  Maple Leaf Cup Champs,  won the Quarter Finals 4-1 against the Mass COYOTES, then shocked the Gr Boston STARS 4-1 in the Semi's.

IDTA CAN AM- FINAL Rams 4 Mid Atlantic Titans 1

The 30th Can Am  Senior A" tournament  sponsored by MYLEC was played this past weekend at the Leominster Dekhockey Center with a field of 12 teams. The RAMS won the event with a 4-1 victory over the Mid Atlantic TITANS.

20 Questions with Chris Housser Player, Coach, GM and Rink Owner

E Zimmerman recently sat down with Chris Housser, Street Hockey's guru and once called the Babe Ruth of his sport to discuss the past and future of a game, that began in the early 70's. Now in 2009 is on the rise in the forms of Ball Hockey or DekHockey today. Chris's history in the sport is extensive, to name a few, he was MVP at the US Nationals 5 times, won the US Nationals scoring title 11 straight times. Also played at the ISBHF World Ball Hockey Championships in 2003 (Switzerland)  and 2007 (Germany). Chris came out of retirement and lead his team in scoring both times, he was also one of the top five leading scorers for each tournament, all at the young age of 50 then 54. Chris helped create the Leominster Rams, Street Hockey's most winning team, he also owns the Leominster Dekhockey Center and the Niagara Regional Street Hockey Centre in Niagara Falls Canada.
